The Anne Kelly Family Foundation was created in honor of Anne Kelly Sousa and inspired by the strength and love of Carol Landry. Their lives continue to guide our mission to educate, empower, support and bring hope to families navigating serious illness, caregiving, and loss.

Remembering

Anne Kelly Sousa

(1968–2024)

Anne was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and dedicated healthcare professional.

She began her healthcare career as a home health aide and worked her way forward to become a Registered Nurse. Her life reflected compassion, determination, and a commitment to caring for others.

Anne faced anaplastic astrocytoma, a serious brain tumor, before passing away in 2024. Her experience inspired the Foundation’s commitment to providing accessible educational resources for families facing difficult diagnoses and medical decisions.

Carol was a beloved mother and grandmother whose memory is also woven into the Foundation’s work. Her strength, kindness, and devotion to family continue to inspire everything we do.

Mom’s life reminds us of the importance of compassion, advocacy, and support for families caring for loved ones. Her legacy inspires our educational programs addressing chronic illness, caregiving, and the challenges families face while navigating serious health conditions.
